During our holiday season we lost a very special person in our family, Grandpa Bud. We will miss him and are grateful for the time we were able to spend with him this past summer. On December 30th the girls and I loaded the car in order to pick up Jon after work and head North! The first night we made it to Spearfish, SD which is a little less than 1/2 way to Fargo. New Years Eve we took off from Spearfish and drove to Fargo. We rang in the New Year with Jim, Lisa, Jason, Terri and families in Fargo. Needless to say this Colorado girl was COLD! We spent the next few days in Grand Forks with family. The girls got to play/swim with cousins and we were able to visit with adults. On Friday Jon and I decided to head to the lake to see what was what...so fun. It was cold but it was a change for all of us to see. We topped off the trip with burgers and beers in Leonard!
