Annual Outings --- Cinco de Julio, Clearwater River Trip & Mistic Berry Farm

Every summer we have our list of things we look forward to doing...we have added outings over the years and some stick and some don't!  We have visited Mistic Berry Farm for years to pick Strawberries and have breakfast.  In 2017 we added Cinco de Julio and a trip down the Clearwater River.  Cinco de Julio is of course the 5th of July and a day of rest!  The river trip has grown and is a fun day with friends.

4th of July 2018!

4th of July is always a great time at the lake.  The day started with a boat parade down the North Shore followed by yard games, root beer floats, Paul's famous Jalapeno poppers, baseball game, S'mores Bar and FIREWORKS!

Lake Bound 2018

Lake Bound 2018!  The girls and I had a good trip to Bismarck and met up with Rochelle & Hailey.  We continued on the next day with Hailey & Koda (Hannah was at camp).  A quick stop outside Fargo to stock up on Fargo and we were headed North!  Unfortunately Mother Nature had a different agenda and we hit quite a storm.  We stopped in Climax, MN for a sugar break and to let the storm pass.  After that we followed the storm to the Lake.  Our first 24 hours was eventful as another storm hit us during the night and took our phones & power for 55+ hours.
