Christmas Eve and Day

After months of shopping, wrapping, and anticipation it is finally here...Christmas.  It was a great holiday with family and friends.  Santa paid us a visit and everyone enjoyed the day.  Most of the mess is cleaned up and mom is ready for a nap!!!
The living room so nice and clean, just wait!

Quinn decided that it was time to get rid of her paci, she had to have one last "hit" so to speak!

The aftermath!!!

Skiing-Snow,Snow,Snow-Skating

This week was busy with lots of activities!  We spent a night in Breckenridge hoping to be able to enjoy the expected storm on the slopes, Jon and Addison got a few runs in.  We headed home to find 2+ feet of snow in our yard...wow!  Needless to say, we spent sometime digging out and sledding.  We had a very nice sunset that night, the valley was beautiful.  Friday night we enjoyed sometime with our neighbors, skating.  For those of you that don't know our neighbors built an ice-rink in their front yard for all of us to enjoy.  Jon and Addison have been skiing quite a bit and are having a lot of fun.

Addison is on the left in the purple plaid jacket.  Jon built her a "walker" to help with her skating and she is doing quite well.

Addison turns 5!!!

We celebrated Addison's birthday by opening presents with family and a party with her friends at Pump-It-Up!

Yummy frosting!

The First Week of December 2011

The first week of December has been very busy for this family.  We got the tree up and decorated.  The lights are up on the house and the barn but that is about all for the decorations, we will get them up eventually!  Saturday night was the Parade of Lights in Downtown Denver.  We went down for dinner, a horse-drawn carriage ride and off to a party and the Parade.  The girls had a great time and Santa made an apperance at the party.  I am sure this next week will be just as busy...

The Quinn Riley Show!

Last night after bath the girls were watching a cartoon while Jon was playing with our new camera.  Quinn started singing and dancing, it was hilarious.  Sorry to Addie as there are not many pictures in this post of her.  We sat and watched Quinn and laughed, she was in a great mood!

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving brought many visitors to our house.  Jim, Lisa, Mark, Rochelle, Hailey and Hannah all made the trip from ND to spend the holiday with us.  We had such a great visit, especially the cousins.  The weather was fantastic and the girls played outside a lot.  We fried a turkey, baked a turducken, held a fashion show, went to a hockey game and ended the week with a trip to the Zoo Lights!

Snow is apparently the key to making a good sand castle, who knew!

4  girls left alone to their own devices = fashion show!!!

A great visit with Santa at the zoo, what a great surprise!
A trip to the zoo is not complete without a ride on the train and the carosel
