Braces!

As some of you know last week was a big week for Addison.  On Monday she and I dropped Quinn off at school and headed to the Orthodontist.  Addison was a bit nervous but also very excited, she had on her tie-dye T-shirt that Dr. Jim gave her.  She did awesome while they installed her permanent expander on her top teeth along with 4 braces.  As you can see from the "after" picture her bands are all bright colors.  We had a couple days of soft foods but all is back to normal and she is doing so well!

Sunday afternoon with Strawberry

The Sunday after Halloween was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and we had a great day.  We have friends who live up the road from us that have horses.  Strawberry is their pony and he is so good with the kids.  They all got to ride and help groom him.

Halloween was a lot of fun this year.  The girls both had parties at school, Quinn's in the morning and Addison's in the afternoon.  After school we headed home to get ready for Trick-or-Treating.  A group of friends met at our house before we took off.  Their is a great neighborhood not far from our house that restricts vehicle traffic for the evening and is foot traffic only so that the kids can run from house to house without worrying about cars.  It was a great night and we had a blast.  This is the only picture I got of the girls together all day, it was crazy.  They were both Doc McStuffins (from the Disney Jr series) it was very cute!

Disney Land - Day 3

We have made it to day 3, what a fun adventure for all of us.  We especially love the California Adventure park...great rides and just an overall good atmosphere...

We started the day with a Breakfast with the Princesses...we met most of them.

This was so cool...we were walking to have lunch and came across Goofy's mid-day show.  He stands on a podium while classical music is playing in the background and he is "directing" the water fountains...similar to the water show at the Bellagio in Las Vegas...it was very fun.

Disney Land - Day 2

Wow, what a fun day!  Jon and Addison started the day off with a ride on the California Screamin Roller Coaster.  Unfortunately Addison was not a big fan but Jon loved it!  We had a great day in California Adventures meeting more characters and riding the rides.  We met up with AJ & Brandon for dinner and had a great visit.  After dinner we said our goodbyes and we took off to Mickey's Halloween Party.  The girls were able to wear their costumes and go trick-or-treating in Disney Land.  What a great day!!!
