A Visit to Aunt Lori & Uncle Harry's

Yesterday we made our annual trek to Lori & Harry's garden.  We had a fantastic visit and lunch.  As some of you know Lori & Harry have a garden that is the envy of the family.  We picked raspberries, fresh snap beans, green beans and basil.  I could have spent the day there, it was so peaceful.  The kids were totally entertained with the mini-4 wheeler.

 As most of you know Quinn has a very unique personality and can entertain herself with almost anything.  We were sitting on the beach and I look to see this little dance!  So cute and something we will always remember.

Last weekend was Grandma Laurene's 80th Birthday Party at the Lake.  Everyone had a great time!

More Tubing and Skiing

Last week when all the cousins were here we did a lot of tubing.  Kadence, Cale, Addison and Hailey all tried to water ski for the first time.  Hailey was able to get up on her skis for a short time.  It was fun to watch all the kids try and have fun.

Worm Farmers

As you would expect you have kids, sand, water and worms...what comes next a Worm Farm!  They used the night-crawlers that is usually bait and had a great time with their worms.  

Boy Chores

Jon and Jason had a few chores to do around the lake a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately we had several kiddos get stung by hornets so we had to find the hive.  It was under our steps going down to the beach and they had a great time trying to get this out!  After the hornets were gone they took off to cut up some fire wood.  Once the firewood was cut and stacked they took a dip in the lake to get cleaned off.  The kids thought it was hilarious to see their dads strip down to their undies and dive in the lake with a bar of soap!
