Fun in the Water!

Mark had a great game going with the girls one day.  He was tossing can koozies into the lake and the girls were jumping off the dock to get them.  It was so fun to watch!  

Mark & Quinn were having a great discussion, not sure what it was about but as you can see they were both very involved!

Strawberries!

One of the best things about summer in Minnesota are the Strawberries!  There are several farms with in 40 minutes of the lake that offer Pick-your-own strawberries.  We enjoy Mistic Berry Farms in the town of Puposky, Mn.  It is family owned and operated and has the best strawberries.  We try to go every year with the kids and bring enough home to freeze, make jam and of course pies.  After all the picking is done we finish off our visit with Breakfast at their restaurant...huge waffles, fresh whip cream and picked-this-morning strawberries!

Tubing & Skiing Fun

We have spent a lot of time on the water this summer.  The kids have had a great time tubing and Jon, Mark, Rochelle and Terah have all skied.  Quinn and Holly love to ride in the boat and cheer everyone on.  The day these pictures were taken we came across our resident Loon and her baby...so fun for all to see.

These 3 have a great time on the tube.  It won't be long before one of them thinks they are hot stuff and falls off the tube!

Breakfast of the Farm

Every year Clearwater County has a pancake breakfast hosted by the community.  It is always on a working farm and is in a different location.  Jon, Mark & Mike took the girls again this year and they had a great time.  There were not as many animals but LOTS of Tractors!  Of course the menu is what is the main attraction...pancakes, ice-cream and fresh strawberries!
