Fun in Aspen

This past weekend the girls had a few days off of school so we took a trip to Aspen.  The weather was not all the great but what do you expect in April in Colorado.  Anyway, we had a great time and spent most of our time in the pool (a little cold for mom but I am a wimp).

 

 

Easter Fun

Easter was busy this year.  The girls were both sick up until a few days before so we stayed home instead of traveling to see family.  We had a great time coloring eggs and decorating cookies.  We spent Easter afternoon with friends in the neighborhood.  There was another egg hunt with a Easter Bunny sighting and a Bunny pinata!  Needless to say there has been a lot of candy around the house these days...

we tried something a little different this year...crack the shell and then add the coloring, it leaves the white of the egg with some cool colors

March snow!

March brought much needed snow.  The girls & Jon had a great time playing in the snow.  We had several snow days and the girls played with Legos and outside!
