Chores, Pumpkin Patch and Trick-or-Treating!

We spent a weekend in Grand Junction in October to celebrate Boppa's Birthday.  Everyone pitched in to finish up some chores before winter, we visited the pumpkin patch and had a little trick-or-treating before dinner.  It was a great day and everyone had a great time.
Digging up the last of the potatoes!  Nice supervision Jerry...
Quinn got a lift from Aunt Nanny to the pumpkin patch, we loved where she chose to hang on!

The kids had a great time on the bouncy pumpkin

Uncle Keenan is always there to lend a hand!

I loved this picture, the sun was in the girls eyes but Boden's face is priceless!  Must help that he has a hat on but it really showed the difference between boys and girls!

October 8th - SNOW!!!!

We woke up to our first snow of the season this morning, not sure if we are ready for it but here it is.  Hard to believe it is only October 8th and we have snow.  It is still snowing so we will be spending the day inside!

A Night at the Circus!

We spent Wednesday evening at the circus.  Our seats were in the front row and we were probably no more than 25 feet from the center ring.  With our seats we got to sepnd 15 minutes sitting in the center ring watching the clowns and tight-rope walkers!  All in all a very cool night for all of us.

S'mores on a stick, yum!

12 tigers, very cool

A total of 8 elephants

Our last couple of weeks at the lake!

The last couple of weeks have been busy.  Papa Jerry and Grandma Susie came for a visit.  We picked strawberries at Mystic Farms and raspberries at Aunt Lori's.  We had a lot of really nice weather and a lot of fun in the water.  We watched the caterpillar that we found at the farm with Ethan and Gr. Bud make his cocoon and turn into a butterfly yesterday.

Fishing in our PJs!
