Sunshine!

Yesterday the sun came out after 2 days of rain.  We were so happy to be outside.  We had a fantastic day - no clouds, no wind and LOTS of sunshine!  The girls did a little fishing with dad, took a canoe ride.  We had our dinner by the bonfire and smores afterwards!  All-in-all a great day and the way summer should be at the lake.  We are getting ready for the 4th of July and for the family to be here.

Week 2 - Minnesota

We 2 started at the lake.  Jason, Terry, Kadence, Cale and Ian stayed for an extra couple of days after the party.  On Tuesday we all headed to Fargo to visit Papa Jim and Grandma Lisa for a few days.  The kids got to go swimming.  Wednesday evening Addie went with Papa and Grandma to Disney's Aladdin at the Community Center.  They had a great time.  Yesterday we came back to the lake to sunshine.  The girls spent a lot of time swinging, their new favorite thing.  We were joined by a pair of loons and their babies.  They hung out with us right off the dock for quite a while.  Today we are getting some chores done and waiting for Grandma Pam and Papa Mike to arrive this evening!

Week 1 in Minnesota

We arrived in Minnesota to rain, clouds and wind. Not the ideal way to begin our summer at the cabin but we had a great week. We were able to get settled before everyone arrived for Bud & Laurene's 60th Wedding Anniversary. All the family was here to celebrate.

Well worth the 3 day drive!

Cows, Tomatoes & Cell Phones!

Last week the girls and I spent the week in Grand Junction with some family.  We got to see Aunt Nanny's bottle fed cow, Fletcher.  Addie was such a big girl and helped feed cows and plant tomatoes! Quinn is obsessed with her phone and talked constantly to anyone and everyone.  All-in-all a very good trip.



Last Day in Florida & First Day Home

We had a fantastic time in Florida, defnitely hard to leave the sun and warm weather.  We arrived home to rain, snow and cold...ugghhhh!



Friday afternoon - Parasailing

Jon, Keenan, Ashley and I spent an couple hours this afternoon Parasailing.  It was fantastic!  We were off the boat about 600-700 feet cruising along the shore in Destin.  We all took a little dip as we were reeled back in!

Friday morning - Fishing

Jon, Jerry, Keenan, Susie and Ashley set out in search of Red Fish...unfortunately not a lot of luck. They had a great time and ended the trip with a few dolphins!
