Addie's Big-girl Haircut

After many months of fighting over brushing her hair at night we finally decided to do something about it. She got to sit in the big girl chair, get her hair washed and cut! It is very cute!  Addie got to pick where we had lunch so we had her favorite chicken and favorite rice at PF Changs!

Pictures at the Lake and Uncle Jason's Surprise Visit

January was our month for visitors.  We had been to the lake earlier in the day for a few photo ops and then off to lunch at BeauJo's.  As you can see it was a beautiful day.  On Pam's last night in town Uncle Jason called to say he had an overnight layover in Denver.  It was a nice visit for everyone.  Quinn was not quite sure what to think of Jason.  He looked and sounded a lot like dad but something was not quite the same...too bad we didn't capture any pictures of her confused looks!

Grammy Pam's visit!

Grammy Pam came for a week earlier this month. We had a great time. The girls baked and played games with her while she was here. In one of the pictures you can see Pam in the Princess Castle. This was one of Quinn's birthday presents and as you can see it is a lot of fun. Gunner guards the castle so that the dragons can't get in!

We celebrated Quinn's 2nd Birthday while Grammy Pam was here!  Quinn had a great time with the cupcakes and opening presents.

New Year Eve - Party Dresses!

We spend New Years with some friends.  The girls were excited to wear their party dresses.  Unfortunately I was only able to get one good picture so hopefully we will wear them again!!!

Christmas Day

Santa arrived sometime in the night.  Addie was afraid he didn't come when she woke up this morning because he didn't wake her up to say hi.  Needless to say there were quite a few things under the tree and in stockings for everyone.  The girls got new sleeping bags and Strawberry Shortcake dolls from him.  There were great gifts from everyone.  It was a great Christmas morning and has turned into a great day.  The weather is fantastic here and we have been playing outside with new balls, bikes and other toys.  The girls are down for a nap and all is quiet!!!

New PJs on Christmas Eve!

We had a special delivery while eating dinner...NEW PJs and slippers.  Very fun for both girls.  Grandpa Jerry, Grandma Susie, Uncle Keenan and Ashley were here for dinner.  We had a nice dinner and visit before bedtime.  Addison was especially excited about Santa's visit later in the evening.  She wanted to make sure that we woke her up when he got here!!!  We left cookies and milk for Santa and some carrots for Rudolph and the other Reindeer.
