Work weekend at the Cabin

Memorial weekend this year was full of projects. Jon and I headed to Northern Minnesota to get some work done at the cabin. Mark & Rochelle met us there and we got to work. Jon & Mark finished the roof on the cabin, got the walls back up inside along with the ceiling panels. Rochelle & I managed to get the boathouse, bunkhouse and one coat of paint on the cabin. As you can see from the before and after picture of the cabin we made some big changes. We had nice weather and a great time. Pam and Mike were around as well getting their projects done. It was great to spend sometime at the lake and get a few things accomplished. We look forward to being back up there in July!

A Day at the Zoo!

Addie, Quinn and I headed to the zoo this morning. We met cousins Steph, Ty & Boden along with just about every elementary school in the Metro Area. Needless to say we had a great time. We got to see the polar bear, seal lions, the new baby giraffe and the elephants playing in the water. We celebrated Boden's first trip to the zoo with ice cream cones before leaving. As you can see Quinn enjoyed hers quite a bit!

Florida - Day 6 Lunch

Today's bike ride was to the Village Market for lunch. Jon had a great fried shrimp po'boy and I had a fried shrimp & oyster basket. The girls were not quite as adventurous and had chicken fingers. The highlight was by far the sweetened tea and Quinn's mood. As you can see from the pictures she was in rare form!
