Easter Fun!

We spent Easter with Keenan and Ashley in western Colorado.  Instead of getting a hotel room we decided to rent an RV for the trip.  It was quite an adventure but we realized they are not as much fun to travel in as we thought, a little loud and hard to walk around when moving!  The Easter Bunny found us and the girls hunted eggs before heading off to church.  We enjoyed a nice Easter dinner with most of the family before heading home!

Testing Uncle Keenan's sprinklers...yep they work!

Mimosas!

I am pretty sure that Keenan thought that Asy (and all of her stuff) were moving in!

Spring Break

With our trip to Mexico in February and Jon's trip to London in mid-March we decided to stay home for Spring Break.  It was a nice week to get caught up on things and have a little down time.  The girls and I did go to Colorado Springs (about an hour south of home) with friends to stay a night at the Broadmoor.  For those of you that have never heard of the Broadmoor, it is an old resort that reminds me a lot of the resort in the movie dirty dancing.  They have a pool, a pond, an indoor movie theater, several restaurants, a spa and an indoor bowling alley.  It was a great time and we are looking forward to going back.
We also spent a day at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs.  It is literally built on a mountain and has some fantastic animal exhibits.  The kids especially like feeding the giraffes!

If I remember correctly, the moose was named Boris!

Mexico

We had the opportunity to join family in Mexico in February.  It was a much needed break from the cold and the snow.  Everyone had a great time and we look forward to going again.

A fun game of "Let's tip Aunt Nanny over in the pool"

Not sure about Quinn's ponytail!

Sledding

In the winter we find ourselves doing more skiing than sledding.  The kids and Jon found energy from somewhere after a day of skiing and went sledding outside the condo.  I can't tell who had more fun, the kids or Jon?
