Bonfires, 4th of July, Strawberries, Wake Boarding, Yolo Boards, Baseball, Pancake Breakfasts, Birthdays, Water Skiing...

It has been a busy week.  We had a great 4th of July despite the rain.  Thursday we got up early and went to  Mistic Berry Farm to pick strawberries and have a yummy breakfast.  Friday we spent the day getting ready for Pam's Birthday party and playing in the water.  Saturday Jon, Mark & Mike took the girls to the local Farm Breakfast where they got to see a lot of animals and have pancakes.  Of course we had the usual...smores, bonfires, water skiing, baseball, wake boarding...

Off to the lake...

We have now been at the lake for about 10 days.  It has been busy getting settled, picking strawberries, making jam, smores, fishing, swimming, heat and rain!  We are loving every minute of it...
the new cabin

getting ready for smores

picking strawberries

eating strawberries

great helpers

not bad for an hour and a half

if you look close you can see the strawberry juice on their faces

time to make jam and pies!

dance moves?

it wouldn't be summer at the lake without the loons

if you look close you can see the dragonfly to the right of his tail

night swimming, this was about 9:30pm one night...they had a blast

we couldn't get her out of the water

finally got them in around 10:00pm

here comes the heat and humidity

it is the best way to cool off, unfortunately not all of us can get away with this method:)

an hour later the rain hit...you would think that this would cool things down unfortunately it just made the air muggy

we had a nice little river going on the road...about 10 inches on Sunday night

Baseball Fever!

June brought tball and Rockies games to our family.  Addison finished up tball before heading to the lake and we were able to make a day game to meet Dinger (oh, I mean watch the Rockies)
I try and I try but can't get these to rotate...sorry
